A VERY UN-EXPECTED WONDERFUL SURPRISE !
worked on my blog all day, and posted some survey results to REEF Fish Survey on line .... and sent more emails trying to find a place to live in Roatan.
Cathy moved into the apartment next to mine. we went to The Driftwood for dinner tonight. she's a really interesting person ... was in NewOrleans during Katrina and lost everything, including 2 dogs, but they had been microchipped, and 5? months later, she picked both dogs up in Alabama !!!!!!!!!!
when i got to Utila, i posted about the little kitty, Valentine, that i had neutered and got so attached to when i was here 2 yrs ago ... ...
and the fact that she was no where to be found :( .... and how heart-broken i was ...
..... after dinner i noticed an orange and white kitty there (for some reason, there are a mostly orange/white kitties here) ... i walked up to her and she let me pick her up ... unusual for a cat in Utila. OMG, i looked at her again ... could it be my little Valentine? .... YES ....it has to be ... she rolled over and showed me her tummy just like she used to do ... when i got home i checked my photos ... photo from 2 yrs ago ...
photo of her now ... it's her !! ...markings are exactly the same .... that's Jungle's hand petting her ... he said he doesn't like cats ... but he was always petting her :)

.... this is the greatest gift i could get ... :) she's healthy, has a little tummy on her, and has a wonderful place to stay. Jungle said she's a nice kitty and is doing really well at the restaurant ...
i have a smile on my face and tears in my eyes !
