VOLUNTEERING at RMP

i got to the Roatan Marine Park  (RMP)  and met Christi, who i had volunteered with the last time i was here; and Nic, who was here 4 yrs ago when i first volunteered.    nice to see familiar faces.    Christi and i talked about a few things they needed done.   then Coltin, another volunteer arrived and we started constructing 'recycle bins'  ... the same kind of bins that i made the last time i was here 2 yrs ago.   they are effective, and businesses are requesting them ... this is good  :)     ...we worked until 12:30 ... mostly using the generator to power the saw, because the power went out again  :(   ....   we took a break for lunch, and then finished up around 4pm.   that was a long hot day ... Coltin and i decided we needed a Smoothie as a reward.

he told me that Coconut Tree Restaurant had All You Can Eat Wings on Monday nights, and Monkey Island had Taco Tuesdays, $1ea    ...good to know these things !

at Sundowners i visited with Patricia and Ron, then i headed over to Coconut Tree for the Wings.    they were good and i ate plenty  :)
